Initiate Partial On-Line Marriage License
obtain a marriage license in the office of the Clerk of the
Circuit Court, in the Courthouse. There is no waiting
period necessary between the issuance of the license and the
marriage ceremony. You may take the license to the person
who is to perform your marriage ceremony.
residents must obtain a license in the county in which one of
them reside. Out of state residents must obtain a marriage
license in the county in which the marriage will be performed.

age. A certified copy of your Birth Certificate, a valid
driver's license, a state I.D. or a military I.D. must be
presented for proof of age.
residents of Indiana, the cost is $20.00 cash. For
non-residents the cost is $62.00 cash. The total amount includes a certified copy of your license. This certified copy will be mailed to you once your license has been returned and recorded. When applying for your
marriage license both parties must be present.
The marriage license expires sixty (60) days after it is
